The Experience As a member of the Salesforce Quality team, you will use agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead customer engagements that result in automated tests and input to product teams.

You will use your skills to extract user scenarios from conversations and data, then translate your findings into automatable test plans. You bring a strong quality mindset and a natural curiosity to learn our customers' business, ensuring everyone receives high-quality deliverables.

This role is 1-3 days per week in office. What You'll Actually Be Doing Plan and deliver test automation and automation frameworks with a quality-first mindset, including end-to-end, cross-cloud integration automation using both User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) approaches.

Partner with engineers, product managers, and design leads to ensure features meet business and quality requirements, and participate in Test Design Review Boards across clouds. Communicate with customers to understand real-world usage, build test cases, and advocate for customer-driven enhancements.

Mentor and coach team members across scrum teams, and monitor feature-level quality health metrics including test coverage, test health, and testability. You're Our Person If... 10+ years of software engineering, quality assurance and engineering, usability, or business analysis experience.

Proficiency in JavaScript and Java, with hands-on experience writing functional automation for both UI and API layers. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, relational databases, and Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience with agile development methodology and the ability to communicate technical information clearly across teams.

Even Better If... Professional experience applying AI in an enterprise software context. Salesforce platform experience or Salesforce certifications. Familiarity with developer tools such as git, Maven, or Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.

The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
