As a Classification and Declassification Analyst, you will work within the Spe cia l Security Office and use your spe cia lized information security experience and your attention to detail to classify and declassify information in support of our clients' mission.

As a Classification and Declassification Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client determine classification and declassification requirements, guidelines, and procedures.
Using your comprehensive understanding of security classification guides governing policies and regulations and original classifying authorities, you’ll review and make determinations regarding information classification and declassification.
As the authoritative expert, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillsets. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring.

You Have: 7+ years of experience conducting classification and declassification of information in an information security role Experience with conducting threat and intelligence analysis Experience with analyzing policy or writing memorandums, guidance, or decision papers for GO, FO, or SES-level leadership Experience working on a Combatant Command, Service Component, or Major Command staff Knowledge of laws, executive orders, policies , and regulations related to information security and classification markings TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience as a foreign disclosure officer Experience using Maven Smart Systems and Artifi cia l Intelligence tools on SIPR and JWICS Ability to display an innovative mindset and enhance workflows and product outputs Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree Original Classification Authority Program IF150.CU Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
