Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing company is seeking an Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to join our Factory, Production, and Site Services Consumables Procurement team.

Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist play a pivotal role in developing, managing, integrating and improving Boeing's supply chain. This position may be located at the Mesa, AZ; Auburn; Everett; Renton; or Seattle, WA site.

This position is responsible for procuring cutting tools and related machining supplies, including but not limited to drill bits, end mills, cutting inserts, reamers, and other essential tooling needed to support production, maintenance, and operational needs.

These tools are critical to maintaining productivity and ensuring work can continue without delay. Success in this role requires the ability to understand critical business needs, strong organizational skills, and the capability to manage a heavy workload effectively.

It also requires the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate well with internal business partners, including those with high expectations and demanding requirements. Our organization is responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and contract management of indirect goods and services across Boeing’s global enterprise, and is critical to enabling company operations.

Position Responsibilities: Develops source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies Assesses suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions Evaluates supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management Analyzes external market and internal demand Coordinates with cross-functional teams the acquisition of assets Monitor and manage supplier performance by: Identifies root cause and recovery plans Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, and delivery and financial performance Initiates supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity Contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards This position is hybrid.

This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher 3+ years of experience working with supplier management, supply chain, and/or procurement practices and processes 3+ years of experience leading negotiations with standard terms and conditions; including payment terms Experience as the key point of contact for managing supplier performance against contractual agreements Experience with using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business or related discipline 3+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements 3+ years of experience identifying and integrating opportunities to leverage/improve contracting strategies Experience supporting a lead negotiator for complex contracts Experience modifying contract terms with legal assistance Experience with communication skills (written and verbal) with customer focus Experience in a self-directed role Experience in business acumen and problem-solving skills Experience working in cross-functional teams Experience in leadership skills and ability to build positive working relationships Experience working in matrix organizations with people at all levels Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Summary pay range for Washington: $94,350 - $127,650 Summary pay range for Arizona: $88,400 - $119,600 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
