Join us! About this role: Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is seeking a Lead Technology Business Services Consultant who will specialize in vendor strategy and relationship management. The EFT group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines.

In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed

In This Role, You Will

  • Work as part of the EFT Vendor Management team to support, track and report on the day-to-day activities of full functional Vendor management team.
  • Participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high-profile business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions by using automation tools to enhance the Vendor Management team's performance and capabilities.
  • Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions Provide guidance on leveraging new technology & Vendors Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience

  • organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position Key Responsibilities Vendor Strategy & Relationship Management Serve as an advisor to technology leaders on vendor-related strategy and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors and service providers.
  • Drive vendor performance reviews, issue resolution, escalation management, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support vendor consolidation and preferred vendor strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Contract & Commercial Management Partner with Sourcing and Legal teams throughout the procurement and contracting process.
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), renewals, amendments, and commercial terms.
  • Partner with contract negotiations and ensure compliance with internal policies and governance requirements.
  • Monitor & track upcoming renewals, contract expirations, and vendor commitments.
  • Financial Governance & Spend Management Partner closely with Finance to validate funding, budgets, forecasts, and vendor spend.
  • Provide visibility into vendor costs, commitments, savings opportunities, and financial risks.
  • Support business cases, investment requests, and spend approvals.
  • Analyze vendor spending trends and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Coordinate activities across Technology, Finance, Sourcing, Legal, Risk, Architecture, and Business teams.
  • Facilitate alignment on vendor strategy, contract decisions, risk mitigation, and governance approvals.
  • Asist with stakeholder meetings and drive decision-making across multiple organizations.
  • Communicate vendor-related risks, opportunities
  • recommendations to senior leadership Risk & Governance Oversight Ensure technology vendor engagements comply with enterprise standards, third-party risk requirements

  • Partner with Risk, Information Security, and compliance teams to support vendor assessments and approvals.
  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, contract obligations, and operational risks.
  • Drive governance adherence throughout the vendor lifecycle. [ Reporting & Analytics Create & maintain executive-level reporting on vendor performance, spend, workforce, contract status, renewals, and risk exposure.
  • Maintain vendor dashboards, metrics, and management reporting.
  • Provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
