This role can sit within out Titusville, NJ or Washington, D.C office on a hybrid basis. The Manager supports the advancement of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s public affairs capabilities by integrating data-driven stakeholder intelligence into campaign strategy and external engagement.
This role will harness structured audience insights to inform messaging, assess stakeholder perspectives, and strengthen engagement with policymakers, advocates, and influencers across priority policy issues. Working closely with Public Affairs, Government Affairs & Policy (GA&P), and cross-functional partners, this role will support the development and application of advanced audience insights, including synthetic audience modeling, to test messaging and optimize campaign efficiency.
This role will operate in close partnership with the IM Communications Hub Digital Team and the broader enterprise AI organization to ensure alignment with company standards for data use, governance, and digital communications, and to seamlessly integrate insights into content development and amplification strategies.
Key Responsibilities Support development and application of stakeholder intelligence to inform public affairs strategies Conduct structured testing of messaging and campaign content to improve efficiency Integrate external data sources and insights to reflect the broader stakeholder and policy landscape Translate insights into actionable recommendations to support campaigns and engagement strategies Track stakeholder response patterns and contribute to ongoing measurement and optimization Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 5–8 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, political campaigns, or agency environments Strong understanding of U.S. policy landscape Experience supporting campaigns, messaging, or external engagement strategies Familiarity with data-driven communications, digital tools, or emerging technologies Strong analytical, writing, and project management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare policy, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries Experience with audience insights, analytics, or research Familiarity with AI-enabled or advanced analytics tools Experience working with external agencies or cross-functional teams Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
