Project Manager
- Job Overview Provide project financial support and direction on assigned multi country, multi service projects, ensuring project financials are properly monitored and managed in pursuit of maximizing project profitability and cash flow. Essential Functions Perform monthly financial reviews of assigned projects, including budget tracking, variance analysis, and issue identification Partner with Project Managers to review budgets, mitigate revenue/billing risks, and drive timely budget revisions Validate budget revisions for completeness and adequacy, ensuring all unbilled items are captured through project lifecycle Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve system/process issues impacting project financials Support PMs with financial insights and client-facing discussions as required Review and validate monthly backlog phasing to ensure accuracy and alignment with forecasts Monitor client financial performance metrics and drive continuous process improvements Provide financial guidance and training to PMs to strengthen project financial management and client communication Participate in client meetings to support financial discussions and queries Mentor and support onboarding/development of team members
- participate in hiring and interviews Contribute to and lead global initiatives and process improvement projects Review and enhance PFM training plans to ensure ongoing relevance Support global PFM team initiatives and ad hoc finance activities as required. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Req
- 5 years’ accounting or project finance experience Req Or
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req
- Knowledge of revenue recognition, variance analysis, unbilled/unearned and cash flow management, and backlog forecasting.
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft Project.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Technical accounting skills.
- Good analytical and numeracy skills.
- Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
