Position Summary As the Specialty Generics Operations Team Supervisor, you will leverage strong organizational and interpersonal skills to lead and manage a team focused on Specialty Generics optimization.
This role includes oversight of Pharmacy Service Representatives (PSRs), Benefits Verification (BV) representatives, Work-in-Progress (WIP) representatives, and technicians to ensure efficient and compliant operations. Key responsibilities include participating in the hiring process; providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction to staff; managing team schedules; and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The supervisor will be responsible for staff training and development, problem-solving and follow-up, performance monitoring and evaluation (including corrective action when necessary), and data collection and report preparation to support operational goals.
Required Qualifications The ideal candidate has demonstrated mastery of Benefits Verification (BV) functions and the ability to effectively train and mentor others. This individual serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both internal and external partners.
The candidate must also possess working knowledge across multiple functional areas, including PSR workflows, conversion activities, and Tech and Pharmacist (RPh) support functions. 5+ years of leadership experience Pharmacy Technician license or certification required, based on assigned duties and applicable state pharmacy regulations Preferred Qualifications Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and business partners. Proven ability to present information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, apply basic financial principles, and analyze performance metrics. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple variables in standardized environments. Ability to interpret and apply technical instructions and operational guidelines.
Experience analyzing and addressing performance issues, including coaching and corrective action. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Pharmacy Technician license or certification required, based on assigned duties and applicable state pharmacy regulations. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $85,068.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
