POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of AP Analytics and Investigations is responsible for leveraging analytics, technology, and investigative strategies to support Asset Protection operations, investigations, and risk mitigation efforts across the organization.
This role provides analytical insights and investigative guidance for Field Asset Protection. Leads a team that utilizes multiple tactics including data link analysis, surveillance activity, controlled deliveries and exception based reporting to identify and resolve internal and external risk factors affecting shrink, operational integrity, and policy compliance.
In addition, this position will hold accountability for managing investigative competencies of Field Asset Protection as it relates to systems-driven case identification, exception-based reporting and data driven investigative strategies. This role will also oversee vendor management and systems administration for AP technologies, ensuring tools and platforms effectively support investigative and loss mitigation initiatives.
Responsible for strategic partnership, planning and analytics to support the AP function’s operating plan utilizing business intelligence to identify business needs for Asset Protection support and integration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service for the organization.
Oversees vendor management and systems administration for AP related technologies, ensuring seamless integration with investigative and loss prevention functions. Hires, develops, and trains Investigations and Analytics staff. Implements investigative and preventative processes to detect and mitigate shrink and policy violations through data-driven insights.
Develops and enhances exception-based reporting methodologies to proactively identify risk trends. Utilizes analytics, reporting tools, and investigative methodologies to identify high-risk areas and optimize field and corporate AP and Ops strategies.
Develops best practices for investigative methodologies, and outlines policies for loss control systems and field strategies. Works with cross-functional partners and AP leadership in strategic decision making to maximize profitability through loss prevention analytics, investigative support, and operational risk controls.
Enhances investigative processes by leveraging system-based insights and business intelligence to improve AP operations. Owns vendor relationships and system performance oversight for AP related technology platforms, ensuring they align with investigative and shrink mitigation strategies.
Leads and coordinates analytic efforts to support Business Units and field-based Asset Protection and Operations strategies. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption of AP technology tools and investigative methodologies.
Monitors industry trends in AP analytics, investigative technology, and risk mitigation to enhance internal capabilities. Develops and implements AP system improvements, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and investigative efficiency.
Develops predictive models and investigative algorithms to identify high-risk situations and proactively address potential threats. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Willingness and ability to travel 25% for quarterly meetings 8+ years of experience in Asset Protection, Investigations, AP Analytics, or AP Technology Management, with a blend of investigative and data-driven expertise
Preferred
- Certificate(s) or License(s): LPC, CFE, or other relevant AP and investigative certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
- The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
- This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
