Key Responsibilities Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to the local sales organization across commercial, regulatory and compliance matters Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g. distribution, service, capital equipment, pricing and tender contracts) Ensure alignment with applicable healthcare compliance standards, including anti-corruption laws, competition law and industry codes (e.g.

MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice – MTE Code) Support public procurement activities, including tender reviews, bid strategy input and contract risk assessment Advise on marketing, promotional and medical education activities in compliance with applicable legal frameworks (e.g.

Heilmittelwerbegesetz – HWG) Collaborate with regional and global legal teams to ensure consistent implementation of policies and risk mitigation strategies Deliver legal trainings and enable business stakeholders to operate within a defined compliance framework while supporting commercial objectives Required Knowledge and Experience Fully qualified lawyer with solid experience in commercial and regulatory law, ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector Strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks, including anti-corruption, competition law and data protection (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment Ability to translate legal risks into clear, pragmatic and actionable guidance for business stakeholders Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
