- Amazon Publisher Services (APS) seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) with strong technical, analytical

- maintain scalable data solutions, including infrastructure, pipeline, reporting, to support long-term business strategies * Explore and deep dive into new areas across various programs as well as business functions to support business decision making * Work cross-functionally with other teams in various job families to gather data sources to provide a comprehensive view of the business, inclusive of supply, demand, sales, etc. * Present analytical findings and make business recommendations to senior leadership * Conduct best practices in reporting/analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation
- documentation * Develop exploratory analyses including use of statistical techniques and explore emerging technologies such as ML to build models and tools used by management for decision making * Simplify and re-invent current data solutions to support the business scope expansion About the team Amazon Publisher Services helps digital publishers around the world build and grow thriving businesses. - 7+ years of professional or military experience - 5+ years of SQL experience - 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience - 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience - Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets - Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results - Experience with AWS technologies - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. - Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
