And we'll need help doing it. Legal tech is on the rise, with Goldman Sachs estimating that 44% of legal tasks can be automated with generative AI. With the brand we have built and the agility of early stage we are well placed to capture this opportunity.

Most legal teams scale by hiring more lawyers. Juro’s doesn’t. We run Legal as an operating system: routine work is eliminated, automated or self-served, most deals close without a lawyer touching them, human time is reserved for critical judgement calls.

You can read more about this approach in our Legal strategy 2026-27 . The model works. But it’s created a new problem: the judgement calls that do get through are getting bigger and harder as we scale. Record deal volumes, larger deals, enterprise counterparties with big legal departments of their own… right now, every judgement call lands on Michael , our General Counsel.

That's where you come in. Your mission is to give Juro the confidence to scale fast . That means: You own the system (not the queue) for commercial contracts. You’ll negotiate the deals that genuinely need a lawyer, directly with the other side, with agency to make decisions that you are accountable for.

You’ll make sure fewer deals need a lawyer: refining templates and playbooks, supervising AI review, fixing systems whenever the same question reaches you twice. Within 6 months, success means: Deals that need a lawyer get you (not the GC) and close faster for it. 90%+ of deals close with no lawyer involved at all because you have made the system better.

You work AI-first. Juro runs the most AI-leveraged legal function you’ll find; we expect you to push it further. Customer deals are the tip of the spear but not the whole job. The same model covers everything else a scaling AI business sends Legal’s way: vendor contracts, data protection work, compliance, marketing claims, the occasional dispute.

You’ll own the systems for all of it — playbooks, thresholds, AI triage — handle the exceptions yourself and escalate to the GC only where the risk warrants it. You’ll also get exposure to the company-level work Michael leads: corporate, governance, employment, strategic projects.

We care about building a diverse team where everyone feels they belong. That’s why our perks & benefits and choice-first work approach are designed with inclusivity in mind. Read more in our diversity, inclusion & belonging hub . WHO WE LOOK FOR Research shows that while men apply to jobs if they meet ~60% of criteria, women and those in traditionally under-represented groups tend to apply only if they check all boxes.

So if you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit. To succeed here: Every Juror finds their balance across our four core Principles — we hire, develop and celebrate people who live them every day.

Curious how you’d fit? Try our personality quiz to see how you map against our principles. On top of that, you have been part of a journey where: You are a solicitor, qualified in England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, with a current practising certificate.

You have ~2-4 years’ post-qualification experience (you qualified March 2024 or earlier). You trained somewhere that held you to high standards (likely a City firm, strong regional firm or tech sector specialist firm) and spent most of your time on commercial, tech, IP, data protection or AI work.

You worked in or alongside in-house teams at tech companies (client secondments count) for at least a year. From that, we infer that you’re comfortable with ambiguity, limited supervision and speed. You negotiated commercial contracts in tech directly with the other side, end to end, without someone reviewing your work before it goes out.

You built (not just advised) things other people use such as playbooks, templates, automation and training. You’d rather fix the cause of the question than answer it three times. This job likely isn’t for you if: You measure your value by the number of contracts you’ve reviewed.

Here, a contract reaching you that didn’t need to is a failure, not a win. You're under ~2 years’ PQE (you'll be exposed).* You need a rigid 9-to-5. A few days a month — typically a US-heavy month-end — you'll shift your day later to be in the room with US counterparties (but not stacking extra hours on top).

Most of your experience is in less relevant practice areas like property, litigation, private client, pensions, or banking. You've only worked in-house at large corporates where work is slow and heavily supervised. You want to work in-person with your boss regularly.

Our GC works remotely from the Scottish Highlands. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 You want to specialise. This is a generalist role and will stay one. * This role is scoped for ~2-4 years’ PQE: if you’re more senior and still interested, tell us. OUR MISSION Juro exists to help the world agree faster by making it incredibly easy for anyone to agree and manage legal contracts.

Frustrated by the absurdly slow process of taking a contract from inception through to agreement, Juro co-founders Richard and Pavel thought there must be a better way. They set out in 2016 to build a flexible, collaborative platform that anyone could use to process a legal contract end-to-end in their browser.

Fast forward 8 years and we have helped our customers process 2 million contracts in over 85 countries. Some of the world’s fastest-growing businesses, like Deliveroo, Remote, and Trustpilot have relied on Juro to help them streamline routine contracts at scale across multiple years of their growth.
