Job Purpose
  • To lead and ensure best in class customer service operations as per GSK values and policies while ensuring Safety, Quality, Regulatory and Cost compliances at the CFAs.
  • To drive process improvement/simplification by benchmarking and automation at the CFA. Key Responsibilities Warehousing operations:
  • Act as SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) between Trade, Commercial team and CFA
  • Conduct warehouse GEMBAs to ensure EHS, Quality and Financial compliances across CFAs
  • Evaluate and build capability of the CFAs Staff by providing/facilitating trainings.
  • Drive continuous improvement mindset at the CFAs
  • Drive operational excellence across the CFAs, by mapping best in practices in warehousing operations across industry.
  • Liasoning with cross functional teams for operational/service/compliances related issue resolutions in timely manner.
  • Identify process digitalization opportunities in the CFA and work with local IT/solutions team for implementation. Cost and service delivery:
  • Continuously evolve innovative distribution strategies for the region to ensure high level of cost and service delivery.
  • Ensure cost management of allocated cost for the region towards CFA operations and distribution.
  • Prepare annual budget for the region and support central team for annual budgeting exercise.
  • Collaborate with procurement to optimize fixed commission and rentals for region.
  • Support Warehousing Operations Lead in driving change management and process improvement at the CFAs. Warehousing operations Compliance(Finance, Quality, EHS and Trade):
  • Conduct/facilitate audits to ensure SOP adherences and ensuring 100% CAPA closures on time.
  • Ensure implementation of GSK SOPs at the CFAs
  • Drive EHS and Quality culture at the CFAs by liasing with EHS and Quality team
  • Preparation & revision of the applicable SOPs in timely manner relevant to W&D and LSPs.
  • Ensure Zero Critical and Major observations in internal and external audits related to Quality, EHS, GMP, Trade etc
  • Training Co-ordinator for W&D Implementation and Ensuring Effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) activities for CSLE function & CFAs/CWHs (LSPs):
  • Raise & lead Change controls & Deviations as appliable in W&D function. Review and keep track of Change controls & Deviations raised by LSPs. Ensure appropriate loop closure & trending.
  • CAPA coordinator for W&D function and ensure zero overdue CAPAs (including GMP Audit CAPAs).
  • To prepare MM schedule for the W&D function and for CFA/CWHs and ensure it is in place and in use.
  • Preparation & revision of the applicable SOPs in timely manner relevant to W&D and LSPs.
  • Ensure gap analysis of new/revised/existing QMS documents / PGSOP & revision of applicable SOPs.
  • Identify, implement and manage QA objectives & KPIs.
  • Distribution Risk Assessment (DRA)- Co-author for Distribution Risk Assessment along with LOCQ. To follow procedures defined in local SOP of Risk Management System for the risks identified during Distribution Risk Assessment.
  • Accountable for presentations (Quality council and RMCB and Department Dashboard).
  • Support the WNO (Warehouse Network Optimization) and other applicable projects through change management process.
  • Create Quality culture across all CFA’s through well-defined Trainings and Visual aid presentations.
  • Drive all time inspection readiness culture by routinely visiting CFAs for assuring their operations are complying to GSK and applicable local regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) for W&D India.
  • Perform annual reviews of the systems/processes as applicable in W&D function.
  • Ensure appropriate support during L3/L4 inspections to LSPs on Quality front.
  • Ensure continuous improvement culture is embedded in W&D and across LSPs.
  • Review & approval of validation / qualification activities (protocol / reports) performed by the third-party vendors.
  • To log GDIM and TPI and investigate GDI and TPI tasks.
  • To review deviations investigation reports.
  • To be author of W&D SOPs. Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations. Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, transportation, and distribution operations. Experience in managing Carrying & Forwarding Agents (CFAs), third-party logistics partners, and warehouse service providers. Understanding of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and financial compliance requirements. Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably CERPS. Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and people management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital tools. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Graduate degree with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience in leading large-scale warehousing and distribution networks across multiple locations. Strong understanding of supply chain performance metrics, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives. Proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, and other data visualization and automation tools. Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects within supply chain operations. Certification or training in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or related disciplines.
