  • resilience at scale. As we rapidly grow our business AWS is seeking a world-class professional for a Global Account Manager role to work with a FS customer head-quartered in London. This role will help the customer use cloud and AI technologies to accelerate their hyper growth by modernizing and building new innovative businesses on AWS. We are looking for a senior professional with a background in leading highly effective teams and experience in the relevant ecosystem of banking, finance etc. You will be actively contributing to the strategy and operations of the customer. We see you being a hands-on and Change Leader who can drive new business and operational excellence. will collaborate across multiple functions as the owner of the AWS relationship with the global customer, orchestrating Sales, Technical Account Management, Business Development, Solution Architecture, Customer Solutions Management, Partner Sales and Marketing. You should be a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is motivated by supporting organizations to rapidly develop the capability to drive digital transformation, optimize their use of AWS. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love to execute against ambitious goals and have a passion for technology Key job responsibilities Responsible for engagement with one of the worlds largest financial companies from CEO to working level. Deliver operational excellence to ensure sustained customer value realization from current AWS business. Develop long term account plan to deliver incremental sales revenue targets.
  • Experience in technology-related business development, sales strategy, operations, or other sales-related fields - Bachelor's degree, or experience with financial services, payments or e-commerce
  • Experience in cloud or account management, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and projects - Knowledge of of cloud based architecture, cloud services and experience in customer facing roles Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
