We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director to support team with BAU analysis and reporting to IAD senior management and strategic department and Firm initiatives pertaining to Issues Analytics. In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance.
This is a Director level position within the Internal Operations & Quality control job family which is responsible for efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high quality assurance services.

What you'll do in the role: Execute recurring deliverables (monthly, quarterly) including Management Identified Issue analysis, Control Themes review and identification, ORD QA issue and action follow-up Support issue data aggregation, analysis, and reporting for senior management insights Act as implementer for key processes, including thematic tagging review and trend analysis of issues across functional groups Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives (e.g.
Issue Analyzer) and broader automation efforts NB: Issue Analyzer is being positioned as a department and Firm-wide solution; an Support ad hoc data requests and stakeholder deliverables across IAD and external stakeholders What you'll bring to the role: Knowledge of industry, global markets, and regulatory environment Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools, and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring) Effective change and project management techniques and ability to support teams in adapting new ways of working Ability to leverage and analyze data using tools and technology like Gen AI, Alteryx, Power BI to inform focus and views on risk Ability to execute multiple deliverables and manage stakeholders in line with shifting priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and objectively to senior stakeholders At least 5 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Coverage Hybrid working (4 days in office) Monday to Friday from 12:00PM to 9:00PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters (including India Public Holidays) Periodic evening calls with US and EMEA internal clients and vendors WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
