The Manager, Business Analysis is accountable for translating complex business and technical requirements into actionable initiatives while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence.   • mentorship to a small team of Senior Business Analysts. Key Responsibilities
  • Defines and maintains product backlogs in Jira, ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and modernization objectives
  • Leads feature definition and backlog refinement, including:
  • Writing clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Translating complex business processes into scalable product capabilities
  • Decomposing large initiatives into actionable and deliverable increments
  • Ensuring work meets Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards
  • Drives billing modernization efforts, including platform rationalization, process standardization, and migration initiatives
  • Partners with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches
  • Prioritizes work based on business value, customer impact, risk mitigation, technical dependencies, and strategic alignment
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and business teams to align requirements, priorities, and delivery outcomes
  • Leads requirements gathering and solution design sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Supports large-scale transformation initiatives such as platform modernization, billing rule standardization, and payment ecosystem evolution
  • Reviews and validates product deliverables through demos, testing activities, and stakeholder feedback
  • Utilizes data, metrics, operational insights, and customer feedback to measure product performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Identifies and manages product risks, dependencies, assumptions, and implementation challenges
  • Creates and maintains product documentation, operational procedures, business requirements, and executive communications
  • Communicates roadmap progress, strategic priorities, key decisions, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Leads and mentors a team of Senior Business Analysts while continuing to perform hands-on business analysis, requirements management, and modernization delivery activities
  • Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, workload prioritization, and development support for assigned Business Analysis team members
  • Supports hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development activities for direct reports
  • Champions customer-centric product development practices and promotes agile methodologies across teams All About You
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Product Ownership, Program Delivery, or related disciplines
  • Previous people leadership experience or demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing Business Analysis professionals
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise platform initiatives and large-scale modernization programs
  • Strong understanding of financial services, payment processing, billing systems, order management platforms, or transaction-based platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements, solution designs, and executable delivery roadmaps
  • Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Jira, Confluence, and related delivery tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across business and technology organizations
  • Ability to influence decisions and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to effectively balance hands-on delivery responsibilities with leadership and development of a small team
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing business and technology stakeholders across complex initiatives
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, platform architecture, system integrations, and enterprise technology ecosystems
  • Experience with payment systems, ISO 8583/ISO 20022, billing, order management, revenue management, or financial operations is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a collaborative and results-oriented approach
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
