Department Profile International Wealth Management (IWM) is a division within Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (PWM) that focuses on overseeing the business and key strategic efforts focused on servicing International clients (i.e., clients residing outside the US, and booking assets at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney).
IWM has been one of the largest growth business within WM over the last few years and a strategic focus of the firm. The IWM Strategy team is responsible for crafting, developing and implementing initiatives to scale the IWM business to successfully service our existing clients, expand our current model, and ensure that the needs of our financial advisors are met The IWM Vice President will: Support the strategy and execution of several key initiatives across International Wealth Management, including the development of a global wealth management strategy, international expansion efforts across Europe, the Middle East, Canada, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, cross-divisional business development, field support, and client-related events and inquiries.
Join a high-performing team focused on executing the Firm’s strategic priorities and supporting growth across International Wealth Management Help drive key initiatives and business management activities, including client events, strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and the annual budget process.
Contribute to strategic discussions, support alignment across internal partners, and help execute key decisions efficiently and accurately Balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution while supporting new initiatives that contribute to Net New Asset growth.
Display strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities and stakeholder groups Key Responsibilities In this role, the IWM Strategy Vice President will: Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables Support the launch and scaling of initiatives that drive IWM Net New Asset growth Partner with business units, international regions, and control functions to advance strategic projects and improve execution.
Develop data-driven insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders Enhance the lead distribution process to improve opportunity quality, advisor engagement, and business impact. Prepare senior-level presentations that communicate strategic priorities, insights, and progress Contribute to discussions that inform tactical execution and long-term business strategy Experience Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 8+ years of relevant experience in wealth management, financial services, strategy, business management, or top-tier management consulting.
Experience within financial services is preferred; direct Wealth Management expertise a plus. Prior International markets or cross-border business experience highly valued Skills Required Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaborative work style and ability to influence stakeholders; experience working across teams and with senior leadership a plus Project management skills, including ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail and results-oriented individual Strong team player, and high energy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.

However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
