Work Flexibility: Hybrid This role is responsible for leading packaging design and development activities across new product development and lifecycle management initiatives. The position supports cross-functional teams in delivering compliant, effective packaging solutions aligned with regulatory and design control requirements.
It provides broad technical oversight across packaging engineering, testing, and manufacturing transfer activities. What You Will Do Lead packaging development projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders from concept through commercialization Develop packaging design inputs, specifications, and system-level architectures based on user and product requirements Execute project plans within defined timelines and design control processes to ensure compliance Evaluate and implement packaging technologies including testing, sterilization, prototyping, and simulation methods Manage design change processes by coordinating engineering activities, completing technical assessments, and updating documentation Define and execute verification and validation strategies for packaging systems Support manufacturing transfers and new product introductions by aligning packaging designs with production capabilities Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions for existing products What You Will Need Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field 4+ years of experience in packaging design Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field USN : $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 10% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
