Job Title: AFRICOM-All Domain Exercise Planner Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 100% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US - Hazard * * * The Opportunity: As an All-Domain Exercise Planner, you will synchronize complex operations across land, air, maritime, cyber, and space domains.
You will help AFRICOM J37 integrate multi-domain operational concepts into exercises and ensure that all warfighting functions and capabilities are represented. Responsibilities: -Plan and coordinate exercises that integrate kinetic/non-kinetic effects and multi-domain capabilities. -Work alongside Component Commands, Joint Staff, and interagency partners to design MSELs, objectives, and operational vignettes. -Develop domain-specific injects enabling realistic replication of contested and complex operating environments. -Conduct analysis of exercise results and integrate lessons learned into future planning. -Produce high-quality briefs, updates, and assessments for AFRICOM senior leaders. -Integrate AI, data-driven tools, and advanced modeling into exercise design. -Support simultaneous planning/execution at multiple events or locations, as required
Qualifications
- Required- -Master's degree in a related field and 3 years specialized experience
- a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years specialized experience
- 10 years of specialized experience. -7+ years in Joint planning, multi-domain operations
- CCMD-level exercise design. -Familiarity with Joint Planning Process (JPP), JELC
- Joint Doctrine. -Strong writing and briefing skills. -Experience working across classified and multinational environments. -TS/SCI clearance required.
- Desired- -Experience with emerging technologies, targeting processes
