Job Description Lead and manage the global visualization studio, driving innovative visual solutions for General Motors. This role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality visualization assets across various programs.

What You’ll Do Oversee the entire production lifecycle of visualization assets, from concept to delivery, within the global visualization studio. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of visualization output, leveraging tools like Siemens Teamcenter and Viz Mockup.

Lead and mentor a diverse team of visualization professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, design, marketing) and external partners, demonstrating excellent Collaboration A and Networking skills.

Ensure all visualization deliverables meet General Motors' standards for Color Differentiation and accuracy, especially when Reviewing Parts in Math. Manage project timelines and resources effectively, utilizing GSTS (Global Status and Timing) for tracking and reporting.

Apply Commercial Acumen to identify and implement cost-effective visualization solutions. Provide expert guidance on visualization techniques and technologies, particularly concerning Injection Moldings and other manufacturing processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the studio, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, Engineering). Minimum of 10 years of experience in visualization, 5 of which must be in a leadership role. Proven expertise in Siemens Teamcenter and Viz Mockup.

Demonstrated ability in Collaboration A, fostering effective teamwork. Strong understanding of Color Differentiation principles and their application in visualization. Exceptional Commercial Acumen and project management skills. Proficiency in GSTS (Global Status and Timing) or similar project management methodologies.

Experience with Injection Moldings and their visual representation. Adept at Networking and building strong professional relationships. Proficient in Reviewing Parts in Math for accuracy and detail. What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Own the end-to-end production model for Global Visualization Studio across brands and pillars.

Lead the producer layer (by brand/stream) and set expectations for how projects are planned, resourced, scheduled, and delivered. Partner with Brand Liaisons and Creative Leads so they can focus on creative/brand decisions while production owns logistics and delivery.

Establish and maintain shared tools and rhythms (Monday, Frame.io, review cadences) so status, priorities, and ownership are visible and predictable. Drive consistency in how foundational assets and standards (3D models, lighting/camera/shaders, configuration rules) are used across workstreams to improve quality, reuse, and speed.
