Senior Solution Architect - Vice President
Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with over 10 years of experience to lead our large-scale Finance Technology Transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and delivering end-to-end Oracle Fusion/SaaS implementations, managing complex legacy-to-SaaS migrations, and architecting modern data platforms.
You will be a proven leader capable of guiding architect teams, governing solution design, and engaging with senior stakeholders in a global, complex environment. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of enterprise-scale solutions for finance transformation, focusing on Oracle SaaS and cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure).
Integration Strategy: Design and govern robust application and data integration architectures using APIs, ETL, Pub/Sub, Kafka, and Microservices patterns. Data Architecture: Architect enterprise data consumption patterns using modern principles like Data Mesh.
Design data products, data migration strategies, and reconciliation frameworks. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor teams of architects and engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight. Govern the full delivery lifecycle from requirements to go-live.
Governance & Standards: Establish and run Design Authority governance. Develop and maintain architectural documentation including HLDs, LLDs, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and security frameworks. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to facilitate requirements discovery, planning, and prioritization to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
System Modernization: Orchestrate system deprecation strategies with minimal business impact and lead data migration from legacy systems to Oracle Financials. Innovation: Drive the architecture for modern platforms, including AI/ML solutions, defining frameworks for governance, cost control, and security.
Core Skills and Qualifications Experience: 6+ years in solution architecture, with significant experience in the financial services sector. Oracle Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle SaaS (Fusion) implementations and legacy-to-Oracle SaaS migrations.
Integration Architecture: Extensive experience with Integration Architecture (APIs, ETL, Pub/Sub, Kafka) and Event-Driven Architectures. Data Expertise: Strong background in Modern Data Architecture, Data Mesh, Data Migration, NoSQL, and Vector Stores.
Cloud Architecture: Proven solution architecture experience with AWS and/or Azure, covering Data, Networking, Application, and AI services. Leadership: Demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentoring architects, and leading Design Authority governance.
Documentation: Strong discipline in producing high-quality architectural documentation (HLD, LLD, ADRs, Risk Registers). Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng) or a related technical field
