- Challengers. Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a skilled and proactive Theatrical PR Specialist to drive day-to-day publicity strategy and execution for our theatrical slate in the United Kingdom. This role will work closely with the senior UK/EMEA PR leadership and US home office teams to develop and implement publicity campaigns for all theatrical releases in the UK market. You will be responsible for the hands-on execution of PR campaigns — managing timelines, coordinating press days and junkets, overseeing trailer and asset launch logistics
- ensuring all campaign activity meets the high-quality bar set by Amazon MGM Studios. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of the UK entertainment and media landscape, solid relationships with media and industry contacts
- demonstrated experience executing tentpole theatrical publicity campaigns that generate cultural conversation and drive box office results. Key job responsibilities - Execute strategic publicity campaigns for all theatrical releases in the UK, working in close partnership with senior UK/EMEA leadership and US office teams - Manage day-to-day campaign operations including timelines, press materials, screening programs, media outreach
- campaign asset coordination - Coordinate with teams on junket schedules, press days, talent availability, asset delivery
- campaign priorities to ensure UK activity is aligned with global plans - Oversee campaign logistics, talent appearances
- press activations across the UK, ensuring flawless execution and brand-appropriate presentation - Build and maintain strong working relationships with UK media contacts, entertainment journalists, critics, cultural influencers
- talent representatives - Manage local agency partners and external vendors on a day-to-day basis, ensuring deliverables are met on time and to the expected standard - Draft press materials, pitch stories, coordinate interviews

- distribution to ensure integrated campaign execution - Support UK festival strategy and cultural partnerships as directed by senior leadership - Contribute to corporate communications efforts around Amazon MGM Studios' theatrical expansion in the UK
- Experience in professional communications or public relations - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field - Proven track record of executing theatrical publicity campaigns
- Experience in crisis management and planning - Experience at a major studio, entertainment company
