Role Summary This role designs intuitive and impactful user experiences and develops strategies that align user needs with business goals. Leads broader initiatives that span journeys or families. Additionally, the role focuses on driving user-centric innovation while ensuring alignment with overall product and organizational strategy.
Responsibilities 1. Designs complex user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI elements to deliver a seamless user experience across mobile and web platforms, while utilizing established brand standards. 2. Develops user experience interface architecture strategies to support and improve the user interface.
Leads cross-family initiatives to meet business and marketing goals. 3. Partners with cross-departmental teams and business leaders to prioritize UX efforts that align with business objectives. Helps translate user needs and feedback into actionable product features.
Coordinates and delivers design, prototype, and documentation to improve the user experience. 4. Collaborates with research and data analytics teams to incorporate quantitative and qualitative data into the design process, ensuring decisions are informed by user insights.
Leverage experimentation to validate hypothesis across the feasibility, desirability, and viability spectrum. 5. Analyzes market trends, competitive analysis, OKRs, and user behavior to develop UX strategies that inform design decisions and product direction. 6.
Advocates for user-centered design solutions that evolve with changing business goals and user needs, while keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and design trends. 7. Ensures our UX practices align with industry standards and yield minimum waste.
Trains and mentors junior staff in best practices of user experience design. Provides guidance, training, and motivation. 8. Develops and leverages a professional network across the enterprise to foster collaboration within the department to support department-wide initiatives, and to advocate for UX having a voice in the decision-making and planning process 9.
Drives design consistency by contributing to and maintaining design systems and reusable components. 10. Facilitates design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder alignment sessions to ensure clarity and execution excellence. 11. Collaborates closely with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation of design solutions. 12.
Continuously evaluates and improves design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and output quality. 13. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualification & Skills Minimum 8 years of industry/field experience in user experience design.
Product design experience preferred. Undergraduate degree such as B.E./B.Tech, B.Des, B.Sc (Design/Computer Science/IT) or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field
Preferred
- Postgraduate degree such as M.Tech, M.Des, MBA (Design/Product Management), or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
- similar. 8+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design
- related fields.Strong expertise in Product Design, UX Strategy, User Research, Design Thinking
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, wireframing, prototyping, and modern design tools.
- Experience working within Agile teams and leveraging Jira for product delivery.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, APIs, and AI-assisted design tools.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a creative or technical discipline.
- Financial Services, Wealth Management, or FinTech experience.
- Experience with Design Systems, Data Visualization, and dashboard experiences.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Exposure to AI-enabled design tools such as Figma Make and Claude-to-Figma workflows.
