As a DC Structural Engineer at AWS, you will be part of the design team for Amazon DCs in our Americas Region and impact other projects around the world. As a Structural Engineer at AWS you will be part of a highly creative and efficient design team comprised of Architects, Engineers and Designers tasked with solving problems and challenging the status quo. As a subject matter expert, you will have a direct impact on the design of prototypical DC facilities, provide technical guidance to team members, review milestone drawings by consultants, solve large scale implementation issues

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word
- Excel - Experience in commissioning - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering - 2+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - 2+ years of commissioning experience - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Experience researching new designs, technologies
- construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Professional Engineer License - Experience with building codes and regulations for your region - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development
- into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting
- creating construction drawings, specifications
