Director PMO - Shared Technologies & Platforms
Become a part of our caring community The Director, PMO Shared Technologies & Platforms is responsible for leading a centralized enterprise Program Management function across core technology domains, including Infrastructure, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Shared Platforms (e.g., AI, Data & Analytics, Interoperability), and Operational Excellence functions (e.g., Quality Engineering, Site Reliability, Simplification, Productivity).
You will reinforce standardization of delivery governance, tooling, and execution practices across technical and cross-functional environments, enabling scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms. You will unify PMO capabilities into a cohesive model that enhances delivery consistency, transparency, and risk management across enterprise technology services while driving delivery of program and project scope for our technology and business customers.
Leads and delivers complex programs by assembling high-performing teams, allocating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Builds strong stakeholder partnerships, actively manages risks, and applies a range of delivery methodologies (PMI, SAFe, Agile, LPM).
Oversees program interdependencies and defines execution strategies that drive long-term business value. Enterprise Governance & PMO Leadership Establish and enforce governance across shared technology portfolios, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and delivery standards Standardize execution frameworks across Agile, Product, DevOps, and traditional delivery models Advance PMO maturity and operating model consistency across infrastructure, platforms, operations, and cybersecurity Navigate ambiguity with adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset Technology Delivery Oversight Provide oversight across: Infrastructure (network, compute engineering) Architecture and workflow Service management Cybersecurity M&A technology integrations Platforms (AI, data & analytics, interoperability) Operational excellence (quality engineering, SRE, simplification, productivity) Manage cross-program dependencies to ensure aligned, predictable delivery.
Tooling Strategy, AI & Data Governance Define and reinforce tooling strategy across shared technologies Promote an AI-first approach within the PMO Integrate PPM, Agile, DevOps, and operational toolsets Enforce data governance, KPIs, and reporting to enable real-time insights Portfolio Visibility & Executive Reporting Deliver executive-level reporting and portfolio transparency Provide insight into capacity, financials, risks, dependencies, and performance Proactively escalate and mitigate risks affecting stability, scalability, or compliance Cross-Functional Influence Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, platform/data teams, finance, and technology operations to drive adoption of governance standards, tooling, and disciplined delivery practices.
Team Leadership Lead and develop large, diverse teams (employees and contractors) Demonstrate strong leadership and emotional intelligence Build capabilities aligned to modern engineering and platform delivery models Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical or scientific field 8 + years of leadership experience in a medium to large corporate technical environment, with oversight across diverse technical platforms including AI, Data & Analytics, and technology operations 2 + years expereince supporting AI initiatives Preferred Qualifications Experience working with teams that support architecture, infrastructure, cloud, service, API, Storage, Cybersecurity 5+ years of experience in program and project management Experience in the Healthcare Insurance industry Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Jira Align, ADO Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification Agile/SAFe certification Additional Information This position follows a Hybrid work style (3 days a week in office).
The candidate must live close to one of our designated IT locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Boston, MA; Washington, D.C: Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $168,000 - $231,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
