About the Role We are seeking an experienced, and energetic AI Innovation Specialist to join our Legal Department. This is a newly created, high-impact individual contributor role, designed to drive the identification and deployment of strategic AI-driven solutions across the department.
Reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel, the Specialist will serve as a dedicated specialist, responsible for the adoption of AI tools to power legal work and serving as a solution builder and strategic advisor. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to optimize critical legal workflows, building solutions and ensuring successful adoption and improving the overall effectiveness of the legal department.

We are seeking a doer and relationship-builder who can lead the charge in taking the practice of law to the next level.
Design, Implementation, and Technical Work: Lead the design and implementation of automation and AI solutions for legal processes. Assist legal teams in the full lifecycle of automation projects, including identifying needs, gathering requirements, managing implementations, and driving post-deployment adoption.
Collaborate with legal teams to help them maximize the benefits of AI tools for case management support, risk analysis, summarization, drafting, document review, and reporting, among other use cases. Troubleshoot technical issues across legal platforms and coordinate resolution with IT and vendor support teams.
Identify and implement emerging AI tools and vectorization strategies to automate repetitive workflows and optimize data retrieval across the Legal department. Required Experience & Skills: Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Software Engineering, with a proven track record of building and scaling Generative AI applications. Technical Proficiency: AI Orchestration: Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agentic frameworks.
Programming: Mastery of Python and a strong foundation in modern fullstack languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java). Data & Infrastructure: Deep understanding of Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) and container orchestration via Kubernetes.
Development Rigor: Expert in CI/CD, version control (GitHub), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) adapted for AI. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical squads, influence architectural roadmaps, and drive adoption of new technologies across a diverse organization.
Additional Qualifications/Traits: Experience with legal tools, such as CLM tools, redlining workflows, document review platforms, eDiscovery, billing and similar applications. Ability to balance technical and business considerations in the development of AI and automation solutions.
Excellent communication and change management skills across legal and business stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is USD 100,000.00 To USD 160,000.00 As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
