- Mission Brief
- As part of the Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) team, you will lead mission analysis activities for upcoming flights and play a key role in ensuring mission success from early design through flight operations. You will be responsible for maintaining, utilizing
- continuously improving the company's high-fidelity 6DoF simulation environment

- mission analyses. In addition, you will shape and enhance mission analysis processes, develop supporting tools and automation
- contribute to a robust CI/CD framework that enables efficient and reliable simulation and verification workflows
- Your Role in Our Space Mission
- Lead mission analysis activities for upcoming launch missions, including performance assessment, trajectory evaluation, and flight readiness analyses
- Own and manage the technical data interfaces with multidisciplinary teams, including Propulsion, Structures, and Mission & Launch Operations (MLO)
- Develop, execute, and analyze Monte Carlo simulations to assess vehicle performance, robustness, and mission success probabilities
- Maintain, improve, and extend the 6DoF and 3DoF simulation environments, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and traceability of analysis results
- Support mission-specific trajectory design and optimization efforts using both high-fidelity and reduced-order simulation tools
- Develop and maintain automated analysis pipelines, report generation tools, and post-processing frameworks
- Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests to support automated verification within the CI/CD toolchain
- Lead mission analysis contributions to regulatory and flight licensing activities, including preparation of required analysis documentation
- Own the payload controller functionality and serve as the primary GNC interface to the Mission & Launch Operations team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of mission analysis methodologies, processes, and documentation standards across the organization
- Qualification Checklist
- Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in mathematical modelling, development, validation and verification of algorithms throughout the disciplines of Guidance, Navigation and Control
- Strong background in mathematical modelling and data analysis in MATLAB and all relevant Tools (Simulink, Stateflow, autocoding etc.)
- Strong background in Mission Analysis for orbital vehicles
- Experience with ASTOS or similar trajectory optimization tools
- Proficient in data analysis in frequency and time domain with Python
- Experience in C/C++ flight software development
- Proficient in rigid and elastic body dynamics and Orbit mechanics
- Experience with large software projects in GIT
- Experience with project management tools like Jira
- Fluent in English
