  • As part of the Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) team, you will lead mission analysis activities for upcoming flights and play a key role in ensuring mission success from early design through flight operations. You will be responsible for maintaining, utilizing

  • Your Role in Our Space Mission
  • Lead mission analysis activities for upcoming launch missions, including performance assessment, trajectory evaluation, and flight readiness analyses
  • Own and manage the technical data interfaces with multidisciplinary teams, including Propulsion, Structures, and Mission & Launch Operations (MLO)
  • Develop, execute, and analyze Monte Carlo simulations to assess vehicle performance, robustness, and mission success probabilities
  • Maintain, improve, and extend the 6DoF and 3DoF simulation environments, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and traceability of analysis results
  • Support mission-specific trajectory design and optimization efforts using both high-fidelity and reduced-order simulation tools
  • Develop and maintain automated analysis pipelines, report generation tools, and post-processing frameworks
  • Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests to support automated verification within the CI/CD toolchain
  • Lead mission analysis contributions to regulatory and flight licensing activities, including preparation of required analysis documentation
  • Own the payload controller functionality and serve as the primary GNC interface to the Mission & Launch Operations team
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of mission analysis methodologies, processes, and documentation standards across the organization
  • Qualification Checklist
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in mathematical modelling, development, validation and verification of algorithms throughout the disciplines of Guidance, Navigation and Control
  • Strong background in mathematical modelling and data analysis in MATLAB and all relevant Tools (Simulink, Stateflow, autocoding etc.)
  • Strong background in Mission Analysis for orbital vehicles
  • Experience with ASTOS or similar trajectory optimization tools
  • Proficient in data analysis in frequency and time domain with Python
  • Experience in C/C++ flight software development
  • Proficient in rigid and elastic body dynamics and Orbit mechanics
  • Experience with large software projects in GIT
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira
  • Fluent in English
