Position Overview The Aetna Better Health of West Virginia plan has a successful, 29+ year history of partnering with the state to provide West Virginia's Medicaid population with top notch health care coordination and service.
The plan has also been chosen to provide care coordination to complex foster care children of the state. We will support you all the way! The Project Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and ongoing management of project(s). Job Duties Performs data collection, analytical research, and root cause analysis.
Identifies issues that may stall projects, addressing them within a timely manner. Edits and maintains project-related materials. Tracks and monitors progress against timeline and key milestones. May also track project-related financial expenditures.
Actively participates in the development of communications materials on project status to all impacted parties. Actively participates in development of implementation plan to ensure all impacted parties (both up & downstream) are informed of next steps for completion.
May assist with project logistics including agendas, meeting arrangements, and minutes. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in health insurance and medical claims. Resides in West Virginia. Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) in the Charleston, WV office. 3+ years in general personal computer experience, including a demonstrated proficiency in personal computer, keyboard, mouse, multi-system navigation, and Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Medicaid. Ability to communicate effectively with management and colleagues. Ability to successfully and consistently collaborate within relevant work teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proven track record meeting project dates and deadlines. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Education High school diploma or GED. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $21.10 - $36.78 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
