All hiring decisions are made by our hiring team. About the Role We just relaunched our website and we're expanding into new markets, which means there's a stack of high-impact conversion work ready for an owner. Reporting to our Head of Growth Marketing, you'll own the mid-to-bottom funnel: turning our newly-launched site into a genuine growth engine, building out segmented self-serve and AE-led journeys, and tightening how marketing hands off to sales.
It's a hands-on, executional role built for someone who lives and breathes conversion rate optimization, with a direct line to shaping how a fast-growing fintech turns visitors into pipeline. What You'll Be Responsible For Own the web CRO roadmap end to end: build and prioritize a testing plan, run experiments, and report on lift against clear win/loss criteria Build and iterate landing pages by segment and vertical, and lead the post-launch optimization of our new website, refreshing copy and improving the customer journey so more visitors convert Design and own self-serve and AE-led site journeys, including the handoff logic to product and sales, in partnership with our Product Growth team Define and refine where and how visitors route between self-serve and AE-led motions, so the highest-value opportunities get the right intervention at the right time Own lower-funnel demand capture, working with XDR to set clear MQL/SAO criteria and handoff SLAs Partner with RevOps on CRO-relevant reporting and testing frameworks; RevOps owns the attribution model, you own turning it into a prioritized testing plan Bring rigor to experimentation: sound test design, clear hypotheses, and honest reads on statistical significance, not just "ran a test" What You'll Bring 5+ years of hands-on CRO or web optimization ownership at a high-growth company, with real, personal accountability for conversion outcomes, not just contribution to them Deep comfort with Webflow (or a similar site platform), A/B testing tools, and analytics/heatmapping tools; you can set up and run a test without waiting on engineering A track record of designing customer journeys across different segments or motions (e.g., self-serve vs. sales-assisted), and making the routing/handoff logic work in practice, not just on a whiteboard Strong analytical instincts: you can size a test, read a result honestly, and know when a "win" isn't actually significant Experience partnering with product, sales, and ops teams to ship changes to a live site without breaking things for other teams' priorities (e.g., SEO) Genuine comfort with ambiguity and a fixed capacity constraint — you're used to prioritizing ruthlessly against limited design/dev resources Practical, day-to-day use of AI tools to move faster on research, insight synthesis, and experimentation This may not be the role for you if You want to own campaign strategy or channel mix rather than the conversion layer of the funnel You've mostly directed CRO work rather than building and shipping it yourself You need a fixed roadmap and are uncomfortable when priorities shift mid-quarter You prefer to stay at the strategy layer rather than being deeply hands-on in a site builder You like to run the same CRO playbook everyone else uses You haven't meaningfully integrated AI into how you work About you Here's what sets you up for success at Float: You Put Customers First, Always.
You care deeply about delivering meaningful value. Whether you're building internal systems or customer-facing features, you're always thinking about how to make life better for our users. You Act Like an Owner. You take responsibility for outcomes, step up to challenges, and seek solutions proactively—doing what's best for the business, not just your role.
You Think Big and Move Fast. You're energized by building from 0 to 1. You're not afraid to challenge the status quo, experiment quickly, and learn as you go. You Constantly Learn and Grow. You're hungry to improve your craft and open to feedback.
You bring a growth mindset to everything you do. You Raise the Bar. You care about doing things well and efficiently. You balance speed with rigour and always look for ways to improve how we work. You Win as a Team. You're a generous collaborator who values communication, context, and shared wins.
You lift others up and help make the team stronger. Our Hiring Philosophy We hire for character, curiosity, and learning velocity before credentials. Titles matter less than impact, and every hire is expected to raise the bar for Float as a whole.
