HIH- Business Project Senior Analyst

Position Summary: Controls & Security Role is accountable for ensuring that system changes, automation solutions, and business processes are aligned with SOX, Internal Audit, Risk, and Security requirements throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and build through CRP, UAT, parallel running, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.

In addition to the core C&S mandate, the role requires targeted programme delivery support — outlined below — making it a hybrid position suited to a candidate who combines strong controls expertise with hands-on programme execution capability.

Business PMO Business Project Senior Analyst is responsible for the governance processes associated with business project delivery for the Finance and Accounting organizations. Responsibilities include elements of project management, status tracking, communication with workstreams and external stakeholders, content development to support communications, documentation of project artifacts, and facilitation of training and testing events.

This individual will work with users, technology partners, other project team members, and workstream teams. Job Description & Responsibilities Controls & Security The following responsibilities represent the core of this role and carry direct SOX and audit consequences.

Candidates must demonstrate strength in this area above all others. Perform control impact assessments for system changes, technology enhancements, and automation initiatives — evaluating control design and effectiveness across manual, automated, and hybrid environments relative to SOX, ITGC and application control requirements.

Lead access governance and segregation of duties (SoD) reviews, including sign-off on provisioning requests, SoD ruleset configuration, and identification and escalation of conflicts such as upload-and-approve capability overlaps and dual-access risks during parallel running and cutover.

Ensure C&S coverage is maintained across all project lifecycle phases — CRP, UAT, parallel running, and go-live — coordinating with workstream leads to confirm scope, design & build and test coverage ahead of go-live. Maintain audit-ready documentation including control narratives, RCMs, automation descriptions, and evidence references; lead discussions with control owners to confirm ownership and evidence generation in future-state environments.

Prepare workstream status updates, risk and issue reporting, and governance materials for the C&S Workstream Lead and program leadership; serve as the primary point of contact for controls, security, and compliance-related queries across multiple workstreams and initiatives.

Secondary Accountability: Program Delivery Support: The following responsibilities are in addition to the core C&S mandate and require solid program coordination capability. Content creation to support Kick off meetings for project initiatives and other communication material Management of documentation on SharePoint and other project tools (Jira) Collaborate with Project Managers to create, maintain and monitor project plan Collaborate with Project Managers to create and maintain cutover and transition planning; support monitoring of cutover activity status.

Support the administration and monitoring of Hypercare periods and performance relative to KPIs; may include routing issues and inquiries to appropriate subject matter experts Assist change and workstream leads to ensure training, end user support coverage is without gaps; support may involve content creation and user support triage Loading and management of test scripts in testing tool: Zephyr.

Monitoring and development of formal testing entrance and exit gate materials Support the planning, administration and status reporting of testing cycles inclusive of tester & environmental readiness and defect tracking and remediation efforts.

Coordination & Management of test triage calls Support development of testing scenarios in collaboration with workstream leads and QA teams; align testing scenarios to requirements for traceability. Review Scenarios for breadth and depth of coverage and support business stakeholder review process for “day in the life” testing coverage for UAT cycles.

Support test script development with workstream leads as needed. Execute / administer program and governance management process inclusive of progress status reporting, risk and issue tracing and change control management. Create governance committee materials.

Create broad communication materials for extended stakeholder teams Competencies / Skills: Controls & Security Strong understanding of SOX, business process controls, ITGCs, and regulatory compliance in a finance transformation context. Ability to assess and design controls in automated and technology-enabled environments, including Oracle Cloud and automation solutions.

Experience with access governance tooling (Saviynt preferred) and GRC platforms e.g. (Oracle GRC). Strong stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT, Security, Risk, and Audit functions. Ability to translate complex control and automation topics into clear, audit-defensible communications — both written and verbal.

Business PMO Ability to review deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Project Management Requirements gathering Reporting and Dashboards Experience Desired: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred CPA, CIA, CISA, or related certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus.

Exposure to control automation, controls optimization, or monitoring solutions. Familiarity with Internal Audit and SOX PMO interactions. Desired Tool Experience & Project Practices: Oracle Cloud Tools (ERP & EDM), Microsoft Suite, Agile, Jira, Zeyphyr, Saviynt, Aveska, Sharepoint, and Confluence Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex projects/initiatives within agreed upon parameters while achieving the benefits and/or value-added results.

Experience with Agile delivery methodology. Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance transformation programs, ideally Oracle Cloud GL migrations. Note: Qualified candidates will typically have 4 - 7 years of project experience within finance and accounting spaces inclusive of planning, status tracking, testing, and coordination & communication across multiple workstreams.
