  • Maintenance Technician
  • The Maintenance Technician is the primary executor of planned and reactive maintenance activities at Redwood Materials. Technicians are responsible for keeping equipment, machinery
  • facility systems in safe, reliable operating conditions . They work under the direction of the Supervisor and in close coordination with Production Operations, Reliability Engineering
  • Controls teams. Technicians are expected to work safely, complete tasks accurately and on time, maintain precise CMMS records
  • escalate issues that exceed their scope of competency to the appropriate resource .
  • Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop, implement, and support manufacturing and operational processes to meet production, quality, and business objectives
  • Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocols (L.O.T.O., 5-S, Arc Flash, Enclosed Spaces, etc.), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely.
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
  • Analyze operational and production data (e.g., yield, throughput, downtime, cost) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate operational, technical, and financial documentation, including reports, logs, and process records
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to support day-to-day operations
  • Support planning and execution activities related to production schedules, materials, and cost or resource utilization
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and safety requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an electronic assembly and/or troubleshooting background roles preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
  • Ability to follow complex written work instructions
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to use scanners, label printers, and other IT/OT equipment
  • Proficient hazard recognition skills
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods (more than 80% of the shift)
  • Stoop, bend, push, pull and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
