IBOR Accounting & Reconciliation - Vice President
Role Overview The VP will lead IBOR accounting and reconciliation functions, with end-to-end ownership of delivery, control framework, and transformation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to drive large-scale changes across Middle Office and Fund Accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities Own delivery of IBOR accounting and reconciliation processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control adherence Lead large teams across Fund Accounting, Recon, and Middle Office interfaces Strengthen control framework and governance to ensure audit readiness and risk mitigation Drive process transformation and automation initiatives , reducing manual dependencies Build and manage client reporting, KPIs, and dashboards (including Power BI) for transparency and governance Oversee transitions and stabilization of accounts , ensuring quality outcomes and improved metrics Partner with Technology, Pricing, Performance, and Asset Maintenance teams for issue resolution and process improvements Lead stakeholder management including senior client interactions and internal leadership Required Experience 15–18 years of experience in IBOR accounting, reconciliations, and fund accounting Strong exposure to Middle Office operations and end-to-end investment lifecycle Proven track record in managing large teams and complex delivery environments Experience in driving transformation, automation, and process improvements Strong understanding of risk, controls, and governance frameworks Hands-on exposure to data analytics tools (Power BI preferred, SQL and Agentic AI usage) Key Skills Leadership & people management Strong ownership and accountability mindset Problem-solving and structured thinking Stakeholder management (client-facing) Data-driven decision making About State Street Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
