This team ensures that all content aligns with business objectives, maintains consistency across platforms, and meets quality and compliance standards. By collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product management, UX/UI design, and analytics.
The team optimizes content performance, integrates user feedback, and drives innovation in content creation and management. Their efforts contribute to increased customer engagement, trust, and conversion rates, supporting the organization's overall growth and competitiveness in the retail market.
Job Summary: As a Lead Content Strategy & Governance Specialist at Lowe's Digital, you will be an IC who plays a pivotal role in enhancing our digital content ecosystem by identifying strategic initiatives and reforming existing content functions to align with business objectives and user needs.
Reporting to the Manager/Sr. Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and developers to develop and implement content strategies that ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all digital platforms.
Your responsibilities will encompass establishing content governance frameworks, conducting regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and utilizing analytics tools to monitor content performance and provide actionable insights.
Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to content creators on best practices, ensuring that our content remains relevant, effective, and user-centric. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of content management systems, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards, who can drive the success of our digital content initiatives and contribute to the organization's competitiveness and regulatory compliance.

Establish and maintain content governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and workflows, to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all digital platforms. Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring content remains relevant and effective.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, UX designers, and developers—to integrate content strategies seamlessly into digital initiatives. Utilize analytics tools to monitor content performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization, with a focus on driving PDP traffic and enhancing revenue streams.
Identify opportunities for automating content-related processes to enhance efficiency and scalability, contributing to improved customer engagement and satisfaction. Oversee the content lifecycle from creation to retirement, ensuring timely updates and relevance to support ongoing business growth.
Provide guidance and training to content creators and other team members on best practices in content strategy and governance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content strategy and governance to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate and partner with peers and fellow associates to support process automation at scale, delivering a seamless brand response to customer feedback and enhancing overall customer experience. Support and expedite incremental reviews through automation efforts, ensuring content remains current and effective in meeting user needs.
Build process automation for future social curated content mapping and moderation for digital platforms, demonstrating value and contributing to revenue growth. Build strong, trusting relationships with peers and partners across the organization to learn Lowe’s ecosystem, thoughtfully challenge the status quo, and identify top opportunities to support business growth.
Years of Experience Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in eCommerce managing competing priorities leading teams in large complex organizations- problem-solving, quantitative & qualitative roles.
