The senior professional responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the development of innovative and scalable AI solutions. The overall objective is to leverage deep technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the execution of key AI initiatives and mentor other team members.
In this role, you’re expected to: Architect, design, and lead the development of production-grade Generative AI applications and complex Agentic solutions. Define and drive technical strategy for AI projects, including making key decisions on architecture, frameworks, and tools.
This includes evaluating different agentic architectures and evolving industry practices to select the optimal approach. Lead the design and implementation of agent training, performance measurement, correction, and feedback processes, and create/articulate new architectural options.
Ensure solutions meet stringent compliance, security, and performance management standards. Mentor a team of junior and intermediate engineers and data scientists, training them in advanced Agentic solution development and software engineering best practices.
Oversee project/program management using Agile processes, including planning and managing development timelines and deliverables. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience 8-12 years of overall experience with a minimum of 2.5 years of experience in architecting and developing production-ready Gen AI RAG or Agent-based solutions.
Expert-level understanding of Agentic solution design, including architecture selection, memory management, hallucination control, and reinforcement learning feedback loops. Strong experience in architecting and designing highly scalable, available, and performant technology solutions.
Deep expertise in Agent training, performance measurement, and feedback processes. SAS, SQL, Tableau skills are plus Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams. Strong exposure to program/project management, Agile methodologies, and planning development timelines.
