Job Summary The Meeting Planner, Attendee Engagement is responsible for planning and executing attendee recruitment and engagement strategies for healthcare meetings, events, and consulting programs for Specialty Networks.

Working closely with project teams, pharmaceutical clients, and healthcare professionals, this role manages invitation campaigns, registration tracking, compliance requirements, attendee communications, and reporting to ensure successful program execution.

This position serves as the primary attendee recruitment lead for assigned events. Responsibilities Develop and execute attendee recruitment strategies for assigned meetings and events. Manage invitation campaigns, including audience targeting, outreach, follow-up, and registration tracking.

Partner with project teams and database resources to build and refine target invitation lists aligned with client objectives. Manage registrations and attendee approvals through CVENT and other event management platforms. Generate and distribute registration, attendance, and status reports to internal teams and clients.

Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, registration trends, and event readiness. Ensure adherence to all compliance requirements, including healthcare industry regulations, debarment screening, attendance restrictions, and transparency reporting guidelines.

Coordinate the collection, tracking, and management of attendee contracts, W-9s, payments, and related documentation. Manage attendee payment processing and Transfer of Value (TOV) reporting for assigned projects. Serve as a primary point of contact for invitees and attendees, providing guidance and support throughout the event lifecycle.

Collaborate with Meeting Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless attendee experience. Participate in internal and client meetings, providing attendee engagement insights and recommendations. Support onsite attendee management and event execution as needed.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred 2+ years of experience in event planning, event marketing, attendee recruitment, or a related field, preferred. Experience using event management platforms such as CVENT and CRM systems.

Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (intermediate) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ability to travel up to 35% (approximately once per month, including weekends). Anticipated Salary Range: $57,000 - $73,440 Bonus Eligible : No Benefits : Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
