  • Install, maintain, and repair pipework, fittings, valves, and manifolds across cooling distribution loops, chilled water systems, and condenser water circuits
  • Operate and maintain air handling units (AHUs), chillers, cooling towers, evaporative cooling systems, and liquid cooling infrastructure
  • Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system integrity checks on pressurised water circuits
  • Manage water treatment programmes in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 requirements, including legionella risk assessments, temperature monitoring, chemical dosing, and biocide application
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, heat exchangers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and associated mechanical components
  • Monitor thermal performance of cooling systems and identify opportunities to optimise flow rates, delta-T, and energy efficiency
  • Support commissioning and decommissioning of mechanical cooling infrastructure during capacity additions
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical assets including filter changes, belt replacements, pump seal replacements, bearing inspections, and valve servicing
  • Respond to alarms and incidents related to leaks, pressure anomalies, thermal exceedances, or water quality deviations within SLA
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water treatment logs, system parameters, and defect logs
  • Collaborate with controls engineers on BMS/SCADA integration for mechanical plant monitoring
  • Adhere to all site safety procedures including permit-to-work, LOTO, and working at height protocols
  • Work safely at all times, following risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work (SSOW) for all maintenance and operational activities
