  • connection. We are seeking a Social Media Manager to build and scale Oura's presence across LinkedIn and other key platforms, turning internal expertise into external influence. This role will focus on social strategy and content production, developing employee advocacy
  • elevating executive and scientific voices - with commercial storytelling as one of several priority areas.

What You Will Do

  • Build Oura’s Social Strategy & Thought Leadership Presence
  • Establish social as a credible and consistent voice across Oura’s brand, healthcare, science, and business priorities.
  • Define and execute Oura’s LinkedIn and broader social strategy across brand, clinical, scientific and commercial narratives.
  • Identify key storylines, perspectives, and insights that position Oura as a leader in health, longevity, and human performance
  • Translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content that resonates with both consumer and professional audiences
  • Ensure consistency in voice and quality while allowing for authentic expression from individual contributors
  • Partner with Commercial and Partnerships teams to support key verticals through social storytelling, as one of several priority narratives"
  • Develop and Scale an Employee Advocacy System
  • Turn internal expertise into a scalable distribution engine.
  • Build and operationalize Oura’s employee advocacy program across executives, scientists, and commercial leaders
  • Create frameworks, templates, and workflows that enable consistent, high-quality posting across individuals
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify priority voices and support them in developing their presence
  • Explore tools and AI-enabled workflows to streamline content creation and participation at scale
  • Track participation, engagement, and content performance to continuously refine the program
  • Create a Cohesive Content System
  • Move from ad hoc requests to a scalable, repeatable model for surfacing content from across the company.
  • Design and implement a content system that captures and packages insight from internal teams - science, product, leadership, and commercial - into ongoing thought leadership and campaign content
  • Balance planned content with responsive opportunities, ensuring the team can move quickly without losing focus
  • Partner with Creative to develop formats and templates that elevate quality while enabling scale
  • Ensure alignment with broader social strategy, connecting commercial and consumer narratives where relevant
  • Collaborate Across Teams to Drive Alignment and Impact
  • Act as a connector between internal teams and external presence.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Social Media & Influencers to align commercial and consumer strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Science, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices for social participation and thought leadership
  • Bring insights back into the organization, helping inform broader strategy and storytelling
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelance partners, ensuring their output aligns with Oura's voice, quality standards, and content strategy
  • This is a remote US role

Requirements

  • We would love to consider you for this role if you have:
  • 5–8 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or thought leadership, ideally within a consumer, healthcare, or technology company
  • Experience working with executives, subject matter experts, or cross functional teams to develop external-facing content
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
  • Hands-on content creation experience, including short-form video editing (e.g., Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn video) - this is not purely a strategy role

  • Experience building or scaling programs, systems, or workflows (employee advocacy experience is a strong plus)
  • Understanding of LinkedIn and other platforms as channels for influence, credibility, and professional engagement
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with AI tools or interest in leveraging them to scale content creation is a plus

  • Region 2 $106,250 - $125,000
  • Region 3 $99,450 - $117,000
