Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Contract Analyst is to ensure that the intent surrounding the contract negotiation process is accurately reflected in the final document.
Mitigating risk and preserving the integrity of CVS Caremark's financial position and assets. The Contract Analyst is responsible for contract creation, analysis, tracking, execution and maintenance. In addition, managing multiple administrative processes to support the tracking and maintenance of the completed contracts along with ad-hoc contractual projects.
This role primarily works alongside members of the CVS Trade team and Legal teams, on varying types of Agreements and across multiple entities. Responsibilities include: - Detailed analysis, processing, tracking and maintenance 20-40 contractual documents at one time. - Understanding the legal and business intent for contracting provisions such as confidentiality, product recall audit rights and non-solicitation. - Act as a liaison with a variety of internal departments to ensure that all of the terms and conditions of a proposed agreement/amendment can be met from a legal, compliance and implementation perspective. - Collaborating with Trade Negotiators during contract negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers. - Develop pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements for products, based upon the negotiated terms and conditions, in order to preserve the integrity of CVS Caremark's financial position and assets.
This job is a hybrid role in Irving, Texas Required Qualifications 1-3 years' experience with contracts, healthcare or insurance Preferred Qualifications Healthcare experience preferred Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $85,068.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
