What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.
Shift/Schedule 40 hours weekly / Full Time Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday 3x12s 7:00am – 7:30pm Monday 4 hour shift - 7:00am – 11:00am Must be flexible to work other hours, overtime and days as needed Responsibilities Ability to execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements including Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Ability to manage inventory Monitor and verify quality in accordance with SOPs Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facility Work in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure product/production expectations and demands are met Disciplined approach to adhering to a large volume of SOPs, with the ability to adapt to process improvements Ability to learn and utilize technology to support manufacturing processes Knowledgeable in Formulation and Filling Qualifications 2-4 years of experience preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry preferred Formulation or Aseptic Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Ability to manage weight up to 50 pounds Ability to be an effective team member.
Able to repeatedly follow detailed processing instructions Multi-task, well-organized and detail-oriented Formulation or filling experience strongly preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments Adheres to all quality guidelines Works with limited supervision Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
