Job Title SVP, Enterprise Architecture About your role: Lead the enterprise architecture function for Fiserv and define the technology direction that supports business strategy, operational scale, resilience, and security.
You will work with executive leaders, product, engineering, infrastructure, data, and security teams to establish architecture standards and guide investment decisions. This role matters because it aligns enterprise platforms and delivery practices to enable consistent, measurable outcomes across the company
What You'll Do
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, target state, and multi-year roadmap across business, application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains.
- Partner with executive leaders to align technology priorities, modernization plans, and architecture decisions with business goals, risk requirements, and financial objectives.
- Establish architecture governance, decision frameworks, and review processes that improve consistency, interoperability, scalability, resilience, and operational supportability.
- Lead enterprise architects and architecture leaders, set priorities, develop talent, and build a disciplined operating model for architecture planning and execution.
- Guide evaluation and adoption of platforms, tools, and patterns for cloud, data, integration, application development, and enterprise security capabilities.
- Drive current-state and target-state architecture assessments, identify capability gaps, and recommend sequenced plans to reduce technical debt and improve technology efficiency.
- Influence cross-functional teams to implement architecture standards, reference architectures, and engineering practices that improve delivery quality and reuse.

- technology strategy within large, complex organizations. 16+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale architecture transformation, operating model design
- technology roadmap development across multiple business domains. 10+ years of experience managing and developing teams, including senior architects and architecture leaders. 15+ years of experience evaluating and governing application, data, integration, cloud
- security architecture decisions in regulated or highly controlled environments.
- Experience establishing architecture governance, reference architectures, standards, and decision processes with measurable adoption across distributed technology teams.
- Experience communicating architecture strategy, tradeoffs, and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders, technical leaders, and business partners.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Experience that would be great to have: Experience in financial services, payments, banking, or commerce technology.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale platform consolidation efforts.
- Experience with enterprise portfolio rationalization and technical debt reduction programs.
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- How you'll work: This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
- Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).
- Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
