The Network Operations Center (NOC) team within Leo Networking Software is responsible for tier 1 support for software defined network services at Amazon Leo. You'll join a growing team of network operations engineers supporting Amazon Leo's global satellite network. Our services operate at scale and support workloads critical to customer network performance and availability, so a passion and discipline around operational excellence is key. Key job responsibilities - Respond to and escalate network-related incidents in a timely manner, diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues including connectivity problems, performance degradation
- security concerns - Support deployment and onboarding of network capabilities across geographic regions, assisting in the monitoring, testing
- reporting of new network infrastructure including satellites, gateway sites

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience with Linux/Unix - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - 4+ years of technical support experience - 4+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment, including hands-on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking
- cabling experience - Experience with network monitoring and automation scripting using SQL, Python
- Bash - In-depth understanding of cloud networking concepts
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering
- experience with networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, cURL or related) at an advanced level - 4+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience - 3+ years of satellite communications ground systems and operations experience - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
