Quality Assurance Lead - Assistant Vice President

Role Summary & Description: We are looking for a Quality Assurance lead position with 15+ years of experience in our Global Technology Services group As Quality Assurance Lead you will: Manage assigned quality assurance projects including resource planning and project planning, across employees and external vendor contractors Understand the scope and requirements of projects/releases to be delivered while working with Business and Development teams, across global locations.
Strong understanding of software development and automation processes, testing methodologies, and QA tools Assist QA teams in developing and executing quality assurance test strategies, plans, cases, scripts etc. Develop and tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count) for various projects Responsible for managing risks, improving processes, and providing feedback to their team members.
More involved in strategic planning and decision-making Manage the complete SDLC life cycle with report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process Identify potential risks that could affect the quality of the software or delay its delivery.
They then need to develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Evaluate, propose and execute automation and efficiency initiatives as applicable to testing, included test automation suites, GenAI use cases in testing etc. Core/Must have skills: Experience with defect tracking tools e.g.
Jira. Test case management tools like Quality Center (ALM), Rational Quality Manager or Jira-XRAY. Knowledge of software development life cycle (Waterfall and Agile Methodology). Low/No code test automation experience with QA Automation tools (Selenium/Playwright/TOSCA/UFT).
Exposure to Agentic AI and/or AI Productivity tools for QA automation. Good to have skills: Domain experience in Finance domain and Regulatory Processes will be a big plus.
