Check us out on LinkedIn: Medtronic Brain Modulation and Pain Interventions We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded marketing communications leader to develop and execute integrated marketing communications that accelerate therapy awareness, strengthen brand preference, and support commercial growth across our Neuromodulation portfolio.

This role combines strategic leadership with people leadership. You will lead complex, marketing communications initiatives from strategy through execution while also coaching, mentoring, and developing talent within the organization. You will partner across Marketing, Commercial, Medical Education, Clinical, Digital, Regulatory, and regional teams to deliver integrated campaigns that reach patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and referring physicians.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with exceptional execution and proven people leadership experience. They bring experience leading integrated marketing campaigns in healthcare or another highly regulated industry, understand how to translate complex clinical information into compelling customer experiences, and are comfortable driving alignment across a matrixed global organization while developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Lead Integrated Marketing Strategy Develop integrated marketing communications strategies that align with commercial priorities, therapy marketing objectives, and portfolio growth strategies.

Build annual campaign plans and communications roadmaps that support product launches, therapy awareness, and market development initiatives. Partner with therapy marketing, commercial, and regional marketing teams to identify opportunities that increase customer engagement and accelerate business growth.

Lead Integrated Campaign Development Develop and execute global integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels. Create audience-first marketing strategies for patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and referring physicians.

Translate clinical evidence, product innovation, and customer insights into compelling, compliant messaging and campaigns. Ensure consistent messaging and brand experience across all customer touchpoints. Drive Content Strategy and Customer Engagement Lead development of high-impact marketing assets including digital campaigns, websites, landing pages, videos, webinars, email campaigns, social media content, advertising, sales enablement tools, and thought leadership content.

Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop customer-centric campaigns that inspire action and improve engagement. Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve content development, personalization, speed to market, and campaign performance.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution Serve as the marketing communications lead for complex, cross-functional initiatives and product launches. Influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across Marketing, Commercial, Medical Education, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Digital, and regional teams.

Lead agency partners and external vendors to ensure high-quality execution, effective resource management, and on-time delivery. Provide strategic leadership across initiatives while fostering collaboration, accountability, and clarity within teams.

Lead and Develop Talent Provide direct people leadership, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of team members. Develop and grow high-performing marketing talent by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and supporting career development.

Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture aligned with Medtronic values. Measure and Optimize Performance Establish campaign objectives and success metrics aligned with business goals. Monitor campaign performance using marketing analytics, customer insights, and digital metrics to continuously improve effectiveness.

Present recommendations and business insights to senior leadership to inform future marketing strategies. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of people or program managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of people or program managerial experience.

Nice to Have MBA or advanced degree Demonstrated experience leading and developing people, including coaching, mentoring, and managing performance. Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution. Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead across teams. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or another highly regulated industry. Consumer or direct-to-consumer marketing experience, including patient engagement and therapy awareness campaigns.

Experience supporting global product launches and market development initiatives. Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, customer journey development, CRM, marketing automation, and digital marketing. Experience leveraging AI and marketing technologies to improve campaign development and performance.

Experience managing creative agencies and external marketing partners. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$159,200.00 - $238,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.

The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
