As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work directly with science, engineering and business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Key job responsibilities Leading the financial planning and forecasting process for science driven business initiatives under Alexa+ Building and presenting KPI dashboards with financial and business insights each month and quarter for specific business metrics Owning finance communication with the business teams on product performance, long term planning, risks
- opportunities. Driving automation and scale of financial reporting in order to simplify process for internal stakeholders (e.g., finance peers and monetization partners) Lead deep dives into key cost drivers for month end reviews, forecasts
- annual operating plans Partner with the business to make trade-off decisions regarding resourcing and support levels, including ownership of review meetings A day in the life The Alexa AI Finance team operates at the intersection of innovation and scale. We act as the bridge between engineering and finance, translating technical architecture into digestible financial insights for our leadership. - business leaders who are passionate about bringing Alexa to customers worldwide.
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4+ years of identifying, leading
- executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience - Experience in a finance role leading a project or program and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA
