Specialty Networks leverages the Power of its Network, represented by over 10,000 providers, to help independent physician practices, industry, wholesalers/distributors, payers, and policymakers improve patient outcomes. The Project Manager, Specialty Programs, Industry Services supports client engagement and project management for nationally held summit events within an assigned vertical for the Specialty Networks business.
The Project Manager will support in managing customer project deliverables, support the account management team with execution of initiatives, and work closely with the Specialty Programs Meetings & Events team to coordinate all aspects of assigned customer projects (including planning, timing, and execution within the constraints of a budget, schedule, and scope) while minimizing risk, and adhering to established processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities Manage Project Lifecycle: Lead end-to-end project management for specialty summit events within the assigned Specialty Programs vertical. Ensure projects are adhering to scope, timelines, and customer expectations. Drive Stakeholder Engagement : Facilitate project kick-off, implementation, and regular status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Define customer requirements, track deliverables, and provide timely updates to account management and clients. Coordinate Planning & Execution : Develop and maintain project plans, work orders, and event chronologies partnering with Operations and Account Management teams.
Monitor milestone progress, identify and escalate project risks, and ensure timely execution of all deliverables. Support Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key project resource within a matrixed organization, partnering with Account Management, Meetings & Events, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional customer service.
Manage Documentation and Process Compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, budgets, and tracking tools. Support the continuous improvement and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established project management practices.
Support Financial Administration: Partner with Account Management and Finance to ensure accurate project tracking and timely invoicing Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. 4+ years in project management, account management, client services, event management, or a related field preferred.
Experience planning, coordinating, or managing client-facing events, meetings, or conferences preferred. Experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sponsored events, preferred Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing competing priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed and effective in fast-paced or high-pressure situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to travel up to 35%, including occasional nights and weekends Location: This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work within EST or CST business hours.
