The Apprentice – Technical Implementation role is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to build a career in Financial Technology (FinTech), Enterprise Software Implementation, and Investment Management Systems.
As an Apprentice, you will undergo structured training and gain hands-on experience supporting the implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). You will work with experienced consultants and technical leads to learn software development, data management, system integration, testing, and application support concepts while contributing to real client implementation projects.
This role provides an excellent foundation in software engineering practices, capital markets technology, and enterprise application development. What We Are Looking For We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with: 0–2 years of experience (including internships or academic projects) Strong interest in software development and financial technology Basic understanding of programming concepts and database technologies Willingness to learn enterprise applications and investment management workflows Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Positive attitude, curiosity, and continuous learning mindset Key Responsibilities As an Apprentice – Technical Implementation, you will: Participate in product implementation and support activities under guidance from senior team members.
Learn and assist in configuring application components based on business requirements. Support data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities. Write and execute SQL queries to analyze and validate application data. Assist in developing simple programs, utilities, and automation scripts.
Participate in system testing activities including functional, integration, and regression testing. Help investigate and troubleshoot application issues. Learn software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and delivery best practices. Support documentation activities, including technical specifications, test cases, and implementation guides.
Collaborate with global teams across Engineering, Product, and Professional Services. Participate in training programs focused on product knowledge, software engineering, and capital markets concepts. Learn and apply secure coding, quality assurance, and support practices.
