Embedded Software Engineer - Battery Management Systems

Zoox is looking for an embedded software engineer to join our Firmware Power Systems team. Responsibilities include designing, building, and testing real-time embedded code in C/C++ for BMS (Battery Management Systems). Key responsibilities include implementing safety algorithms, managing board bring-up, and ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.

The work includes Power management and efficiency, Charging control, a variety of operator controls, integration of supplier systems, coordination and control of all Power sub-systems, and low-level vehicle controls. This work requires collaboration with vehicle engineers, systems engineers, controls engineers, and suppliers to ensure the Zoox vehicle can drive safely and reliably.
