Sales Executive – Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Position Summary At CVS Health, we are building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming healthcare.
The Sales Executive, Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy, is responsible for driving growth by closing new business and expanding relationships within the LTC market. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative pharmacy solutions that improve patient outcomes, enhance care coordination, and support the evolving needs of long-term care providers.
The Sales Executive will develop and execute strategic sales plans, actively manage a robust pipeline, and lead complex sales opportunities through the full lifecycle—from identification to contract execution—while delivering on revenue and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities Drive new business growth within the LTC pharmacy segment, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and other post-acute care settings. Develop and execute strategic, territory-specific sales plans aligned to organizational priorities and growth targets.
Build and maintain a strong, sustainable sales pipeline; monitor opportunity progression and ensure accurate forecasting. Lead the end-to-end sales process including prospecting, solution development, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
Deliver consultative, value-based sales presentations that demonstrate the clinical, operational, and financial benefits of CVS Health LTC pharmacy solutions. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights to refine positioning and drive competitive advantage.
Partner cross-functionally with operations, clinical, implementation, and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client success. Utilize Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) to manage pipeline activity, maintain accurate records, and provide visibility into sales performance and forecasts.
Track key performance metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue attainment to inform decision-making. Required Qualifications 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably within healthcare, pharmacy, or related industries. 1 + years of demonstrated success in closing complex, consultative sales opportunities. 1 + years of proven experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and full deal lifecycle execution. 1 + years of proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy sales strongly preferred. Established relationships with LTC providers, including skilled nursing facilities and assisted living organizations. Experience selling healthcare services, pharmacy solutions, or care delivery models.
Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred. Working knowledge of the regulatory, reimbursement, and operational dynamics within the LTC industry. Strong business acumen with the ability to align solutions to customer needs and organizational value.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrixed organization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $72,480.00 - $151,898.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
