Overview Overview The Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical infrastructure integration activities within data center construction projects. This role requires strong project management, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience working in complex construction and technical environments.
The successful candidate will coordinate the installation and readiness of Microsoft-owned systems, services, and supporting infrastructure required to prepare new data center facilities for operational use. This includes managing project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across internal teams, construction partners, property owners, service providers, and equipment vendors.
Key responsibilities include: Managing technical infrastructure integration activities throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinating work across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules, and operational requirements.
Identifying and mitigating project risks, constraints, and interdependencies. Developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking critical delivery milestones. Supporting facility readiness reviews, commissioning activities, and operational turnover requirements.
Managing project budgets, approvals, and financial tracking associated with assigned workstreams. Facilitating communication between engineering, construction, operational, and vendor teams to support successful project delivery. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects, navigate ambiguity, drive accountability, and build effective partnerships across diverse teams.
Experience in data center construction, telecommunications infrastructure, critical facilities, or large-scale technical project delivery is highly desirable. This position is based in La Porte , Indiana. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities The Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager is responsible for coordinating technical infrastructure delivery activities throughout the lifecycle of complex data center projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Project Delivery & Coordination Champion a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and supporting collaboration across project stakeholders.
Coordinate technical infrastructure activities with construction teams, property owners, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery. Manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and milestones associated with technical infrastructure integration.
Support design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams and subject matter experts to improve project outcomes and ensure alignment with project requirements. Coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, testing, and readiness activities for technical infrastructure systems and equipment.
Facilitate the deployment and readiness of network, security, and operational technology systems required to support facility operations. Align project execution strategies across multiple sites and stakeholders to improve consistency, efficiency, and delivery performance.
Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure successful coordination between construction, engineering, operational, and technical teams. Business Processes & Continuous Improvement Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms that support efficient project execution.
Evaluate opportunities to improve cost effectiveness, schedule performance, quality, and operational readiness. Manage the selection, onboarding, coordination, and performance of external vendors and service providers. Support continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and identifying opportunities to improve future project delivery.
Facilitate stakeholder decision-making and change management activities to support evolving project requirements. Apply strong problem-solving, influence, and negotiation skills to resolve challenges and drive project outcomes. Communication & Stakeholder Management Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and key performance indicators to project stakeholders.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project reviews to support alignment across internal teams and external partners. Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and action plans. Foster collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups to remove barriers and support successful project execution.
Build strong working relationships and encourage knowledge sharing across teams and projects. Financial & Operational Accountability Develop, manage, and report on project scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements. Review vendor proposals, scopes of work, project deliverables, and supporting documentation.
Support procurement activities, contract administration, and vendor management processes. Review project invoices and validate progress against agreed-upon deliverables and milestones. Monitor project compliance requirements and support audit readiness activities as needed.
Track project performance and implement corrective actions to address identified risks or issues. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive complex projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience OR equivalent experience. 12+ years experience working on data center projects.
Experience coordinating complex technical infrastructure deployments, operational readiness activities, or facility integration efforts in mission-critical, telecommunications, construction, or technology environments. Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, construction, technology, or enterprise projects involving both co-located and geographically distributed teams.
Proven ability to build alignment, foster collaboration, and work effectively across diverse teams, organizations, and stakeholder groups. Experience working with a combination of employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, and external partners to achieve project objectives. .
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a dynamic environment. Experience utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and reporting mechanisms to support project planning, execution, and governance.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification preferred. Experience coordinating complex technical infrastructure deployments, operational readiness activities, or facility integration efforts in mission-critical, telecommunications, construction, or technology environments.
Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, construction, technology, or enterprise projects involving both co-located and geographically distributed teams. Experience working with a combination of employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, and external partners to achieve project objectives.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience utilizing project management methodologies, tools, and reporting mechanisms to support project planning, execution, and governance. BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or equivalent telecommunications industry certification is preferred.
Experience with telecommunications infrastructure design, installation, commissioning, operations, or technical infrastructure integration projects. Experience supporting the construction, fit-out, integration, commissioning, or operation of data centers, critical facilities, telecommunications facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
Experience coordinating network infrastructure, low-voltage systems, security systems, telecommunications infrastructure, or facility technology deployments within complex construction or technical project environments. Knowledge of construction safety principles, site safety programs, and industry best practices related to health and safety management.
Experience managing vendors, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle. Familiarity with project delivery methodologies, procurement processes, contract administration, project controls, and operational readiness activities.
Demonstrated industry experience and professional network within the telecommunications, critical facilities, construction, or technology infrastructure sectors, with the ability to effectively engage vendors, suppliers, consultants, and service providers to support project planning, procurement, and execution activities.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
