We are looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to shape what great agent-driven development looks like on AWS. You will build with agents across AWS services, find the friction

feedback that makes the experience better. You will partner with service teams to advocate for changes and produce the technical resources developers and their agents rely on. A day in the life No two days look the same, but most weeks you will spend real time building. You will use agents to build on AWS and go deep on the experience. You will document what works, what breaks
what's missing. You will turn those findings into blog posts, sample code, tutorials

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
experience in software development - Experience writing for developer and technical audiences: blog, product documentation, technical information - 4+ years of software development experience building production applications - Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development workflows - Strong programming skills in multiple languages, with particular depth in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java
Experience building developer tools, CLI applications, IDE extensions, or workflow automation - Track record of high-impact technical video content with demonstrated developer reach - Speaking experience at major developer conferences with focus on practical implementation topics - Experience with cloud-native development patterns and modern development workflows - Contributions to open-source projects - Experience mentoring developers with strong communication and problem-solving skills Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
