Reporting into our Senior Finance Manager, the Assistant Finance Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of financial support, which drives the overall growth of the Walt Disney Travel Company International by providing accurate and timely financial services across the portfolio of Disney products.
This role assists the finance team in the day-to-day running of finance functions across the portfolio of Disney products. Please note: This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do Ensure smooth running of the accounts payable (AP) function and accuracy of supplier invoices, monitoring purchase order (PO) limits for vendors and raising new POs as/when required Assist with P-Card reconciliations Provide accurate cost recognition and assist with regular monthly activities (e.g. month and quarter end close tasks, journals, reconciliations, etc.) with focus being either DCL and WDW or DLP and transport providers Assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliation for deferred and prepayment accounts Assist with monitoring finance tracking systems, including scheduling of monthly reviews with budget holders Check weekly trade payments through the clearing houses and liaise with trade team on discrepancy resolution Reconcile and account for ticket standalone bookings for WDW Conduct competitor analysis and inform management of findings accordingly Produce agent sales and incentive reports as required Conduct weekly bank reconciliations across the portfolio Be a Casual Buyer for the WDTCI and assist the team with all SAP/Coupa related queries including tracking of all purchase orders, investigating and responding to supplier issues Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the team Training and Professional Development Operate with integrity, champion change and be a good ambassador for The Walt Disney Company Operate as part of an effective and inclusive team by demonstrating an awareness of others; welcoming and valuing unique perspectives and ideas; offering support, sharing knowledge and best practices in order to contribute to overall departmental commitments Take ownership of your professional development through regular career conversations with your line manager and utilising available resources through D Learn, the OTS (organisation and talent solutions) online hub, instructor-led courses and on-the-job learning Proactively suggest ways to improve departmental performance and processes, leveraging technological tools where applicable Build links with other TWDC functions to develop broader knowledge of the business Promote and maintain an inclusive workplace, championing diversity and inclusion and make use of available resources to extend knowledge and best practice Required Qualifications & Skills Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience SAP experience within a similar function, desirable Experience of working in travel industry in a finance function, beneficial High levels of Accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills Computer literate in MS office package with particular competence in Excel Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize workflow while managing a variety of tasks Good team working skills but able to work independently and ask for help/advice where needed Ongoing awareness of process efficiency improvement Strong written and spoken English for business use, essential The Perks 25 days annual leave Private medical insurance & dental care Free Park Entry: You will have the opportunity to enter any of our parks with your family and friends for free Disney Discounts: you are entitled to discounts on designated Disney products, resort F&B and ticketing Excellent parental and guardian leave Employee Resource Groups – WOMEN @ Disney, Disney Mosaic, Disney PRIDE, our disability & neurodiversity focused group - ENABLED, and our Mental Health & Wellbeing Group, TRUST.
